The city is located within Montgomery County, in the foothills of the Jefferson National Forest.
The setting is beautiful, the downtown vibrant, and the city is convenient, with access to Interstate 81 by way of Route 460.
Higher Education is available throught the New River Valley, but it is most concentrated at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg.
You will probably become a Hokie fan if you're not one already!
